Common Questions & Answers for Moving to Season Two
Why is the map being reset?
> The current map was built on 1.17, surviving five major Minecraft updates! During this time, more than ten thousand players have explored its terrain, making for an incredible journey. However, as with any server, a fresh start is necessary to ensure its long-term health and to keep the experience exciting for everyone.
- Exploration Limits – With so many players having visited the map, a lot of it is claimed, mined, and built on, making it tough for new players to get started.
- Economy Balance – There are plenty of changes that need to be made to how money is handled, but since some players may already have the maximum amount of money, the changes would have little effect. A reset will give both new and old players a fair chance.
- New Adventure – A fresh map gives players the opportunity to experience a new challenge by rejoining the economy, building new bases, and working together with the latest additions.
- New Content – The game has introduced new content and features over the past updates that are fun and useful. These provide new capabilities for plugins, which we will certainly make use of, leading to a better experience for everyone and long-lasting features.
What changes are expected?
> All of the featured plugins are being recoded by me, designed to work through updates and integrate with each other to best fit the server. The concept and theme of the server will remain the same. A detailed changelog will be provided, listing improvements and new content.
- A much better world style that will impress, yet still make it easy to find a place to live without fantasy getting in the way.
- An economy rework to make it fun for everyone to participate, rather than being strictly based on farms.
- Improved general experience, leading to significant performance increases on the server.
Do I keep my rank?
> Yes, you will keep both your paid rank and vote rank. Some key purchases may also be compensated. This will automatically apply when you join.
- If any paid content appears to be missing, create a ticket.
Do I keep my items?
> Some items will be allowed to transfer to the new map, but not everything. If all items were kept, it wouldn't provide players with a fair beginning. If you'd like to keep some collections, please follow the upcoming announcements.
- How To – If you play on the server within the next 3 months, a saved file of your upper inventory and ender chest will be created. When joining the new map, you will begin with those items.
- Allowed – Anything approved will transfer; anything else will be automatically removed. Armor and tools will be allowed which keep their custom names & lore, but enchantments will be automatically removed to prevent unfair advantages. Feel free to add items to your ender chest and inventory, except for hotbar slots.
- Blacklist – Items that will not transfer include:
Mob Spawners, Shulker Boxes, Ores, Ore Blocks, Mapart, Redstone items, Beacons.
What about claim blocks?
> The claim system will be new! No longer using blocks as a way to calculate size. It will now be based on chunks. They will not transfer over. If you purchased claim blocks from the webstore, create a ticket.
When is the last day?
